You can really rock this 90’s style with jeans or a skirt – depending on how you feel and the weather, etc. In this look I wore a neutral color sweater under the jacket, but you could totally also throw an oversized sweater over the whole outfit. Let’s help bring out the inner 90’s girl in you… (cue Goo Goo Dolls)
For the best DENIM on DENIM look, I suggest shopping VINTAGE since the pieces are more authentic and they are usually more durable and likely to last longer (like this red cropped jacket). Plus – the prices are usually a lot better than buying brand new, while still keeping the quality! I recently stopped by Brooklyn Flea and picked up a few vintage denim jackets/shirts (all unique + under $40 each)! These are the new babes that I scooped:
The best way to vintage shop is to have something in mind that you are looking for. If you don’t have any good vintage or thrift places near you, I suggest checking out ETSY (fave) or ASOS Marketplace. You can grab some different styles (like different shades of blue, white, or black) and fits (like oversized, cropped, or fitted) to change up the look – I LOVE oversized!
I picked out some cute vintage styles from Etsy to help get you started here: fitted Lee Lee jacket / black jacket / vintage Lee jacket / Levi’s sherling jacket / reworked Geisha shirt / high waist skirt / reworked patch jacket
If you still prefer new items, I picked some cutes styles out below:
