Essential for Fall: Vintage Silk Blazer

Today’s post is all about the vintage silk blazer. This is honestly the most comfortable blazer I have ever worn, mostly because of the silk! (it’s truly hard to part with it). How many blazers have you seen made with a silk lining? Plus – it’s perfect for office wear or dress it down for a chic streetstyle look.

I actually love pairing sweaters with pencil skirts for the fall, where it’s starting to get cooler but it’s still a little warm. The chunkier the sweater, the better (as long as you’re still comfy), like this blue sweater or this white one. This look is perfect for the office AND after work!

This actually was a work outfit for me! During the week, I rely mostly on work-to-out looks that can transition easily. Since I do work a typical 9-5 job and usually have plans after, I try to dress in a way that is cute for both. Usually the main item that changes the whole look is the shoes! For work, I wear more of a professional, chic shoe like this pointy tassel flat or a simple suede loafer. When I leave work, I usually try to throw on a more casual shoe like my go-to Zara platform espadrilles (similar HERE and HERE) to dress down the look.

I found a ton of cute items to pair with this blazer and get a similar look. Shop them below:
