There’s something so calming and nostalgic about FALL. The vibes that the changing of the leaves and the cooler temps is one of my favorite feelings. Usually the areas that really give off this vibe are suburban areas on Long Island or New Jersey, and my favorite: Brooklyn in the Fall! I was so lucky to be able to find this spot right in my neighborhood!
ALL THE FEELS
Things that give me similar feels is the movie “Garden State” (not to mention, the best soundtrack EVER) or listening to “Your Favorite Coffeehouse” playlist on Spotify (scroll down to listen). I am a big fan of Indie music, and this music is the perfect to get the slow-down vibe. The Lumineers artist radio on Spotify is also amazing. For me, coffee shops can also give off the major cozy feels.
I asked you guys what FALL reminded you of and I loved reading all the answers. Definetly lots of cozy feels, hanging out in pajamas near a fire. Since I’m in NYC, I like to light lots of candles around the apartment to fill the ambiance with flickering light and seasonal scents.
Something that is great about NYC gets all the seasons. We really feel the seasons as they are meant in their full feelings. NYC gets very hot during the Summer and very cold in the Winter. It blooms during Spring and during Fall, we get the most amazing colors wherever you look. There is a fine line when the leaves start changing and fall to the ground, to when the trees are completely bare and all the leaves have been blown away. We caught it at the perfect time.
These photos were taken at Winston Churchill Square in Greenwich village. I live nearby and my boyfriend and I were walking by this square after having brunch at Bluestone Lane (our fave spot). I was stunned by the colors. We ran home, I changed, grabbed my camera, and went back to shoot! Peter really is so amazing helping me capture my visions.
