What does that mean exactly? To me, I feel like it gives me a fresh start, a new beginning to do what makes ME happy and be the best ME that I can! I’ve had a pretty interesting 2015…
With that being said, I wanted to talk to about some “resolutions” I have for myself:
1) Bake More – One of my biggest weaknesses are baked goods (ie. pastries, muffins, cookies, donuts, croissants, etc). I know what you’re probably thinking, OK so give up sweets! Umm… I don’t think so. I like to have a pastry for breakfast every morning and I’m tired of always buying them (kinda).. I would prefer to MAKE them! That way I can customize them to be exactly what I want and I know exactly what goes in them!
2) Gym + Yoga More – Obvs. I know… so typical. But I legit have a gym in my building now so I really have no excuses. What should probably go with this is learn how to gym better and not just use the treadmill; I need muscles guys!! I also still need to find a new yoga studio in my new neighborhood… I’m on the hunt!
3) Bring Coffee to Work – Everyday I buy and bring a starbucks to work when I have perfectly fine coffee at home. I am just searching for a cute little thermos to bring it in 😉 which brings me to my next resolution:
4) Shop Less – This is probably the hardest one for me… so sad.
On a more serious note, I’m going to try to be better at decision-making and just go for it! Also, I’d like to attempt to stop using the words “just”, “I think”, and “sorry” in my emails… and in my regular vocabulary (see this article). I use these words all the time and I truly feel they undervalue my message.
Happy New Year Everyone!
