Happy Friday! A big trend we saw during NYFW was the neon, bold color trends. When I was looking how I can incorporate some neon into my outfit, without going out and buying something new, I remembered I had this amazing green dress.
Yes- this green skirt is actually a full dress from Rat and Boa. I love this dress because not only is the color and fit great, but its versatility is endless. The dress is so comfortable and can be worn in casual settings, but I have also worn it to a wedding!
Neon Green Skirt
The dress is originally ankle length, but I wanted to get it a little shorter and have the slit up higher on my leg. I layered my vintage Gucci dupe sweatshirt over the dress and made it into a skirt by pulling it from the middle and tying it with a scrunchie. To hide the scrunchie, I tucked it slightly under my sweatshirt. Since you can still see it a little, I made sure to use a black scrunchie to add some more black to the look.
This sweatshirt is a vintage Gucci dupe I got from the East Village Vintage Collective. I love how the logo really highlights the green from the skirt. Plus it made the dress, which is more of a Summer feel, into something I can wear in the Fall. I wore this outfit during NYFW this year!WEARING:
