I wanted to highlight one of my fave new additions to the shop: these BON AMI vintage pants. They are so lightweight and comfy; they make summer a breeze. When the nights get cooler, they can be easily thrown over a swimsuit after a long day at the beach or can be worn for a picnic in Central Park.
Since they are high-waisted, I paired them with a crop top that meets them in the middle. Plus- I wanted to keep the whole look in the same tones, with the red/brown/pink vibes going on. My favorite part of the pants are the buttons and I loved how my top matched them perfectly. PS; there’s also pockets!
This season it’s also all about denim jackets, lightweight dresses, and skirts! I linked some other pieces that are SO on trend right now below:
This vintage TINA LESSER for GABAR Orange Bathing Suit (Romper) and matching Coverup are SO classic 1940’s / 1950’s. Tina Lesser designed for Gabar Swimsuits for many years, but it was not just the swimsuit she was designing – it was a whole new way of wearing it. The cover-ups and skirts and matching shorts and wraps incorporated the design of the swimsuit beneath into a complete ensemble. The bathing suit became the foundation for streetwear.
