Vintage Striped + Sleeveless for the Spring

Today’s spotlight is on the Vintage Striped Top straight from the PrettyProperQuaint Etsy shop.

Since the vintage “By Alfred of New York” top is one of my fave tops in my collection, I thought I’d share some inspiration and show you the perfect way to style it just in time for spring! Being so soft and flowey, it has the perfect comfort level for a spring or summer day.

The Vintage Striped Top can really be worn with anything since it has brown and black colors in it. From denim shorts to long form fitting maxi skirts, you can create a ton of different looks from the one top. Plus, since it’s sleeveless – throw a sweater or blazer over it to vary the look even further!

For this look, I paired the top with a black formfitting skirt to play off the black stripes in the top. I then brought the brown color back in the wrap-up sandals (I love any excuse to wear wrap-up anything). This skirt can actually be worn longer all the way to the ground, but I wore it shorter to show more of the shoes. I also kept the jewelry very minimal, wearing only my vintage watch fob choker to maintain the focus on the top + shoes.
