I wanted to focus a lot of my looks on dressing for summer while staying in NYC and this is another perfect look for hanging out in the city.

I am usually not one to wear many colors and tend to stay with a minimalist vibe (brown, grey, black, etc). For those of you who are like me, I wanted to share how to wear colors! The best way to get a great look is to mix prints. I paired this striped maxi skirt with this sheer floral top to use the light greens found in the skirt and use the patterns for a great contrast.

Also, these pieces are perfect for the warmer days because they are so lightweight and airy. Staying with the some of the tones found in the skirt, I wore these beige heels (my fave color) to tone down the brighter colors.
