Visual Diary: Prepping for San Francisco

HI GUYS! I just booked my trip to San Francisco!

I will there in April and this time I’m taking NALA with me (my partner in crime)!! I’m super excited about this because while she’s been to Los Angeles and Santa Barbara; she has never seen SF before. I’ve heard that this is a SUPER dog-friendly city so I’m excited to share what adventures we get into while we’re there. I will also keep you all updated on what amazing things for dogs the city has to offer in case you ever want to visit with your pup!

I spent the last big trip to SF doing mostly tourist-y things: I stayed in a hotel right near Union Square and visited things like the ferry around Alcatraz and under the Golden Gate bridge, saw Fisherman’s Warf, rode a trolley around, saw the classics like Lombard Street, painted ladies, and Haight/Ashbury. This time around, I want to tour just like a local. I booked an Airbnb in the mission district (right outside of Dolores Park!) and intend to explore more restaurants and other cool areas I haven’t seen before.

I’m also brainstorming what I should pack. Right now I’m most likely going to bring a ton of athleisure looks (ie. leggings and sneakers) because last time I went, the walking was so much more intense due to the hills. Plus, I want to do a hiking adventure at some point during my trip, so gotta be prepared! It also tends to be pretty cold, so thinking of some light to medium weight jackets or hoodies.

While I’m in SF I will be booking photoshoots (SEE PORTFOLIO HERE) OR if you want to meet up – let me know! PS; I am also accepting recommendations on what I should do!

Check out the visual diary of some cool pictures and videos from my last trips to SF below:

*I took all these photos, can you tell I have an obsession with the Golden Gate Bridge?

{PS; I’m also going to Boston soon, right before SF- so stay tuned for that prep coming soon}
